2025 Season Passes

Join our mountain-minded community on the regular with a 2025 Whakapapa Season Pass - on sale from March 2025.

In 2025, we continue our investment in the next generation of snow sports enthusiasts with our free Season Pass for children aged 10 and under. This year we also extend a free Season Pass to seniors aged 75+.

Weekday and 'Anytime' Season Passes are available. Our Season Pass renewal pricing is on offer to anyone who has purchased a Season Pass since 2020.

Invest a little more for greater piece of mind with our Season+ and SeasonFlexi pass add-ons which cover you in the case of unexpected injury or illness, or a change in priorities.

Our best value Season Passes will be available in the March sale period. Exact dates to be confirmed.

Free Season Passes for 10 and unders

Over its history, Whakapapa has been the breeding ground for snow sports in New Zealand.

In 2025, we continue on our mission; to provide affordable and accessible skiing and snowboarding to as many children as possible, with a free Season Pass for any child aged 10 and under.

"Purchase" a free Season Pass for your child on our website in the March sale period, and rediscover with him or her the joy, excitement, and magic, of thriving on the slopes of Whakapapa.

*Free Child Season Passes are only available during the campaign window. In-season Season Pass and Day Pass pricing will apply after the campaign ends.

Price freeze for 2020-2024 Season Pass holders

In 2025, we are offering anyone who has purchased a Season Pass from us since 2020 the same renewal rate - the 2024 Season Pass price - saving up to $150 per pass.

Pass Protection Add-Ons

For greater piece of mind.

A Season+ Pass gives you more assurance, with a partial or up to full refund in the case of unforeseen and serious injury or illness during the 2025 season. This pass also covers you for pregnancy.

A SeasonFlexi gives you our maximum assurance, with a "no questions asked" refund should your priorities or plans change and you are unable to make the most of your 2025 season. If you are unable to use your 2025 Season Pass more than four times, we will refund half of your purchase price. A SeasonFlexi Pass also gives you an additional two Buddy Passes, taking your allocation to six.

2025 Season Pass Perks

All 2025 Season Pass holders, including free child and senior passes, will receive four 50% off Buddy Passes to use on any Day Pass at Whakapapa.

Other on-mountain benefits include 10% off group lessons, food and beverage, retail, rentals, workshop, and sledding. Each paying Season Pass holder will also receive two 50% off private lesson vouchers.

Off-mountain Season Pass perks are to be confirmed and T&Cs will apply.

2025 Day Passes

In 2025, we have more Day Pass options so you can make the most of your day on mountain.

Choose from all mountain, lower mountain (including Happy Valley beginner area and the Rangatira chair for progression), or Happy Valley beginner area only.

2025 all mountain Day Passes will be priced between $109-$159 an adult and $69-$99 youth, depending on your day of visit.

Lower mountain Day Passes will be priced between $79-$99 for adults, $59-79 youth, while Happy Valley only passes will $59-$79 adult, and $39-$59 youth.

New in 2025 is a 10% discount on any additional day purchased, up to five days.
